The site runs on a virtual private server rented from OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France — telephone 1007. The servers are located in France.

The text, aerial photography and video on this site are the work of Mahé Brizion unless stated otherwise. Any reuse requires prior written permission.

The names and logos of the organisations mentioned belong to their respective owners and appear for reference only.

No cookies

This site sets no cookies at all — no analytics, no advertising, no social embeds. That is why you see no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Two technical values are kept in your browser's local storage and never leave your device: the light or dark theme you picked, and whether the opening animation has already played. Clearing the site data in your browser removes them.

Audience measurement

Traffic is measured with Plausible Community Edition, installed on the server described above. No data goes to a third party.

The measurements are aggregated and cannot identify you: page viewed, referring site, country, device and browser type. No cookies, no persistent identifier, no IP address stored, no tracking across sites.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (GDPR article 6.1.f). The setup falls under the consent exemption the French regulator grants to strictly necessary audience measurement.

Contact form

The form fields — name, email address, message — are used only to reply to you. They are used for nothing else, never sold, never added to a mailing list.

Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request and legitimate interest in corresponding with you (GDPR articles 6.1.b and 6.1.f).

No third-party form service is involved. The message is received and stored by the server described above, in France, then notified to me by email in my iCloud mailbox — the same place it would have landed had you written to me directly.

No IP address is stored. Submissions are capped per hour in memory to limit spam, and none of that bookkeeping is written to disk.

Retention: correspondence is kept for twelve months after the last message, then deleted.

Fonts and external resources

Typefaces are served from this server. No request is made to Google Fonts or any other third-party service when the page loads.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to and port the data concerning you. One address to exercise them: contact@mahebrizion.fr. I reply within a month.
